Shin-Yokohama A renovation
Plan to renovate one room in an apartment of about 85m2 located within walking distance from a station in Shin-Yokohama.
The couple and their bull terrier live together. The couple prepared an environment where each can work from home.
Since the bull terrier is strong and athletic, wooden tiles were used for the flooring material to prevent slipping and scratches.
The dog toilet is located in the bathroom, making it easy to clean.
The soft arc of the wall leading from the entranceway leads one into the living room, where bright light from the south and the vaulted ceiling create an open space.
Since the insulation tended to be a little weak before, the ceiling surface, which is the top floor, was coated with thermal barrier paint to improve the insulation performance.
Surrounded by many beautiful furniture, sculptures, paintings, and other attractive objects, the space is a place where people and their dogs can live comfortably and pleasantly at the same time as it reflects them.
