metis

The giant asteroid “Metis” was discovered in 1848. Despite its irregular appearance, it orbits the sun regularly with a period of 3.69 years.

Playing on opposing irregularity and regularity, I tried to create a similar contrast in my living space with the following themes such as light and shadow, organic and inorganic, flexibility and rigidity, Heaven and Earth, ancient and future, microscopic and macroscopic.

A variety of contrasts simultaneously intersect within the space, creating an architecture that shakes up preconceived notions. I attempted to make each of them meet face-to-face and rediscover a comfortable space.
